The first shutdown looked a bit too dirty to be intentional (but that could have been an effect of the exhaust of the other two engines) but the second shutdown looked clean and intentional. Starship also appeared to lose another raptor just after the start of the landing burn
It took me until past highest point that the Raptor shutdowns *might* be intentional. Or were they?

Not intentional for sure, the vehicle was practically hovering in place (and then sideways) for half of powered flight. But color me impressed, even if I'm highly critical of this program! That was impressive.
