I'm studying the .GIF now.

The GIF is of poor quality and obtaining a time stamp is difficult at best (assuming it is calibrated). The Spectrum Analyser also appears to be looking at an IF frequency of a down-converter. The ascent module could have simply gone behind the Moon. Timings needed.
-
quite likely this is the case

I wouldn't give this much more attention other than to ask the observer for accurate timings of their observation and they can confirm calibration of their timings. Details of their equipment should also be provided.
-
If they provide timings I can confirm where the ascent module should have been relative to its orbit.

I just translated the thread. Assuming the translation isn't mucked up I give this report little credibility.
-
Yeah, the one who posted it said that he/she wanted to keep the source anonymous. Anyway the ascent stage should still be sending signals if it's still in lumar orbit.

Whatever, Truth or not, impact on the moon is a huge waste for this complex and beautiful machine!
-
Let's wait and let science play out. No credible observations. No official releases. I bet the ascent module is still there and will carry on in some sort of post mission like CE5T1 which is still in orbit around the Moon now.
