I speak and write Chinese (though requiring machine transformation since we don't use simplified characters here), but I actually usually only rely on secondary sources since it's a hassle to have to login to see almost anything there.

short answer: in browser google translate, yandex translate's OCR, http://m.weibo.cn mobile weibo for newest posts first and shitloads of bookmark folders full of weibo accounts and search terms you have gathered and keep gathering. And time. Hours and hours of time.
