Enter CASIC’s Kuaizhou 1A, which will now try out a 3-launches-in-10-days challenge from Jiuquan w/ 3 different new EO sats for the still growing Jilin-1 constellation! The 3 sats - High Resoultion 02C, D and F (E was lost in their previous flight, the 1st of KZ-11 in July).

Air Space Closure notices have now been filed for all 3 launches, starting with the 1st on September 12 (tomorrow) at ~05:00 UTC, then the 2nd on the 17th at ~06:20 UTC and the 3rd on the 22nd also at ~06:20 UTC!

If any western small satellite LSPs can handle a 2 launch in several hours from same site, or 10 days for 3 flights for 1 customer right now, feel free to stand up to this challenge!

Took quite some more time than usual, but launch success has finally been confirmed with T-0 at 05:02 UTC.

Not sure what's going on, because only one (semi-official) local media has reported that so far, others still silent. But I have seen stranger things than this and still ended up as successes so it may be just a slow news day in China.

The problem with the lack of news is that.....the Chinese treats full rocket fails, partial fails (ChinaSat 9A) & successful launch but satellite fails (ChinaSat 18) the same way.....by reporting sometimes up to a full day after launch, if ever.
