Where would the A Certain Chinese Spaceplane lands? This air base right next to the very pad of Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center where it was launched seems to be the no-brainer candidate.

It is therefore certain that it is an X-37b-like, and not something like the Space Rider that can land under parachutes anywhere?
We actually don't know (it's just speculation), though even with parachutes it seems landing near a runway would have operational benefits over flat piece of ground if you can control its landing point.
