The problem is that last phrase "considered to be just rockets". Not sure there's a robust definition of that. For example the IABS apogee stages on Atlas/DSCS III launches are a gray area and would break that record if you counted them.

I'm trying to figure out why this is a stat you'd want to crow about. Time under booster thrust is the most dangerous time in a flight. Dragging that out isn't a "plus", IMHO.

It is a good looking rocket and certainly distinctive. I know the bolt-ons are actually liquid tanks, are they the fuel and then all then engines share an oxidizer tank in the core?
