Some additional official info on where @PRCMarsRover will land has surfaced lately. As previously known it will land in southern Utopia Planitia, but there's a bit more info there in the article below.

* The main landing site will be at 24.748°N, 110.318°E, at a late-Hesperian era site in S Utopia. * Back-up landing site is "in SE Utopia, near where magma of Elysium Mons flows into Utopia Planitia". * Landing is scheduled in May 2021, not the late April date floating around.
Does anyone know what to expect on the surface at this site? I know about underground ice deposits in the plains to the north but I don't think they extend that south to 25°N?
