A huge bunch of Chinese satellite launches are apparently piling over the next week or 2! 2 have been confirmed via NOTAMS: * LM-4B w/ a GF series Earth observation satellite from Taiyuan on July 3 ~03:10 UTC * LM-2D w/ thingy called SY-6-02 from Jiuquan on July 4 ~23:40 UTC
Adding to that are: * LM-3B w/ APStar-6D comsat from Xichang ~July 8-10 * 1st flight of the long awaited KZ-11 rocket from Jiuquan ~July 8-11 Between these 4 & difficulties w/ following their Mars orbiter/rover mission, looks like I’m in w/ some difficult info gather work...pic.twitter.com/HIZosagkmr
The KZ-11 launch has just popped up on air space closure notices, on July 10 @ ~04:10 UTC. The APStar-6D launch "should be" on July 9, but nothing confirmed yet.
Well the date is still up in the air, but there's indeed a rocket on the pad for the APStar-6D launch and it has recently received a visit by Jack Ma of (ex- *ahem*) Alibaba Group fame.....

APStar-6D launch confirmed to occur tomorrow, July 9 @ ~12:10 UTC per NOTAMs.
Some sources point to a 20-25/07 launch for the Chinese Mars probe, others to August launch. Interesting indeed...
Actually I am actually more interested in the scientific instrument's specifications, I wonder if there are recent papers (the likes of LPSC presentation materials) that details that? @elakdawalla @plutogno
