Call for ships AIS trackers' assistance: please help look in the next few days if the Chinese tracking ship Yuan Wang 7 stops off the western African coast near Namibia. This would be huge proof to an elusive Chinese spaceplane mission that might happen within the next 1-2 weeks.

Why would it be a proof ? Can you explain ?
Basically: 1. This tracking ship left China way back in late Feb., these ships' 1st job in the Atlantic since 2008 (SZ-7). 2. It may have tracked the new crew S/C, but it seems it will support de-orbit tracking of this S/P. Landing at JSLC would see de-orbit off SW Africa.

Okay now I understand. But why would it already stay near the west coast of Africa, since the vehicle isn’t even launched yet. It would mean a very short flight for their space shuttle. Or maybe the boat would stay there indefinitely...

The faintest whisper of rumors is indeed that the mission will be a very short one, perhaps even 1 orbit a la IXV.
