Yeah, seems ironic that this satellite was intended to replaced the Palapa-D because of the shortened age. But now it failed because (might be) of the same third stage. What are the odds!
That was just over a decade ago in August 2009 - again w/ the LM-3B. That time the launch reached lower than planned orbit (3rd stage LH2 engine shut down early at 2nd burn due to ice blockage) & PALAPA-D reached GSO but w/ loss of 5 years worth of fuel.https://twitter.com/alpha_adhito/status/1248249839931887616 …
Well seems like Indonesia and Chinese have a bad luck habit on launching rockets. Last time on Palapa D also didn't quite go well to plan

The Russians had that with Express-AM4 in 2011 and then AM4R in 2014, both Proton failures.
