Got to admit, my eyes weren't drawn to that on first look. More drawn to how fun New Shepard looked. Anime does tend to have some eek undertones, it seems.

So did Mickey Mouse. But “eek undertones” is a great way to describe over sexualized cartoon teenagers dressed in lingerie. But you do you, I heard the boss is into it.

As someone who go into such things....parts of these do make people eek, but I think animations are suited for adapting works out-of-the-norm where TV dramas/movies aren't suitable, hence niche things are more likely to appear there. Eastern vs Western culture plays a role too.
