The Russian weather satellite Meteor M2-2, launched earlier this year, has been hit by a meteoroid or space debris, causing orientation loss. Sat is now back under control, damage being assessed.

It seems quite a presumption to just blame a micro-meteorite, when it could also easily have been a debris collision

....or even a satellite depressurization event, as it (and as with many Russian satellites) still uses a pressurized satellite bus.
