That is what plants are for natural CO2 absorber. CH4 will burn in the air with O2 to form CO2 and H20, other sources say UV light breaks it down. If using mechanical scrubbers, then use it as fuel. Must produce more energy than it take to get.

Practical CH4 collection would be to collect the cow patties. They are a good source of renewable fuel and natural fertilizer. That would be from grass feed cows, as they should be feed.
