Whaaaat ? SpaceX rockets are nothing like the capability the space shuttle had. Stop idealizing SpaceX you’re making fun of yourself. That US nationalism and lack of objectivism are making US space journalists less and less reliable. New is not better just because it’s new.
I should have added ISS to the list as most of the capabilities of the standalone science missions went there. I was mostly thinking about launching satellites (as envisioned in the 1980s) and "crew cabin/mid deck lockers" part of space station logistics when I wrote that post.

The ISS exists thanks SpaceX ? Not at all. And considering space station logistic, both Dragon 1 & 2 are not even close to how capable the space shuttle was : - gentle runway landing, low G - can carry the biggest racks - can boost the station - way more mass payload Etc

I wish there's a retract button on Twitter because my original tweet was at the very least poorly worded, if not too narrow minded when I wrote that (focusing too much on the "launching satellites" part).
