#SpaceX fan but please be reasonable.
I was mostly thinking of launching satellites and the "mid-deck lockers" part of space station logistics support. Stand alone science missions (Spacelab/hab etc.) have been superseded by ISS operations. You are definitely right on external cargo return, spacecraft repairs etc.

The fact that those ops have moved to ISS does not mean that magically now F9+FH+Dragon are as capable as Shuttle. Shuttle STILL had those capabilities available for use regardless of what was happening on ISS.
