True. But looking at all the Chinese developments, one can see most of their academic integrity is in fact intact. Otherwise, they would not be able to build the world’s largest dam, bridges. Be able to build space ships, cars, 5G technology...see where I’m going with this.
There is one more major problem not listed in the article: China's academic integrity system is still pretty spotty. One might be interested to see the portion of paper plagiarism issues there.....
