In defense of her I am certain that she has never claimed herself to be a real astronaut, or that she has any affiliation with NASA or other organizations, during the last 5 years I have followed her account. She did in fact helped on many education activities too.

I have received multiple complaints about her from past/present Astronauts/Cosmos. She has no right to wear Flight Wings on her suit and her name alone generates confusion as to who she is pretending to be. She is over 18, this has become a serious issue as she is now taking $$

I guess the NASA PA office didn't see this as enough of an issue then? You'd think that they would have taken actions during the past years should they felt uncomfortable with this....

NASA likes any outreach, but they never speak out. Can you name one time they ever did? Put this into perspective. Imagine she shows up at a NAVY event dressed as a NAVY pilot with wings and medals... is that ok? Its actually illegal in the USA.

It might be best for you (or someone in the US) to write a letter to NASA Public Affairs asking for clarifications on their policy of usage of flight suits like costumes et al. in such situations.

In the US - you cant pretend to be a cop, a soldier or sailor etc by wearing exact uniforms... its illegal.

Which is why I think NASA needs to officially respond to that, and writing to them about the complaints is the best way to lead them do so.
