Remember when people said that first stage propulsive landings didn't make sense? Today #SpaceX recovered the booster from a 7,000+ kg satellite to GTO. They didn't even need Falcon Heavy.

Yeah, that's fair. However, it made more financial sense for the customer to launch with a recovery, than it did to go expendable for the performance boost. I probably should have said "GEO" destination though.

And I mean GEO destination as the final destination of the satellite obviously. That tweet was also confusing.
