Michigan schools have started online learning and many parents are not able to help their children or pay for private tutoring services. This community's solution? A remote learning center, specifically for undocumented and low income families.

"When schools decided to remain online, more privileged families began to form learning pods. Job opportunities opened up for educators like myself to work with students at home. Instead, I organized my community so our children can have that support, too.” — Paula, volunteer

Throughout this pandemic, undocumented immigrants have had to depend on our communities. We have been excluded from government aid and created our own mutual aid funds. Now, we are creating our own community resources to support our kids. Help fund us!

For the first time in months, many kids are getting hands-on support with school and the chance to socialize and play with peers. The program has also hired teachers to support students with their online classes & weekly enrichment programming.

In Ann Arbor & Ypsilanti, there are no public services available to help undocumented families with remote learning. So Cosecha Ann Arbor created their own. The community learning center currently supports 24 children, but needs more grassroots funding to stay open next month.

At the Massachusetts rally: Where are the politicians, to hear actual testimonies from our community? They left. They are not accountable to us. But we are mobilizing and organizing to demand what we deserve.

We are mobilizing during a *pandemic* because the Dem majority legislature refuses to vote on Licenses for All. 16 other states already allow undocumented immigrants to obtain drivers licenses. In Massachusetts, immigrant families have to protest to demand this basic dignity.
