I believe my Dem opponent forgets that the only “loose gun laws” that gave drug cartels weapons was under Dem leadership when Operation Fast & Furious (Obama/Holder). Weapons that were used to kill American Border Patrol officers.

Climate disasters send people fleeing from failed farmlands for places they can survive. Many countries don't have our capacity for emergency response or farm support. Also, our loose gun laws fuel the drug wars in Mexico, which sends people fleeing for their lives.
