Agreed, but *hypocrisy.

"Hypocracy" is a portmanteau, combining "democracy" and "hypocrites" to mean "a democracy run by hypocrites." Not a dictionary-approved word, but acceptable linguistic stylizing. Thus, the use of "hypocracy" may have been intentional (and is arguably more appropriate).

Aren't there legal consequences to his saying this? Isn't this blackmail and isn't blackmail against the law?

The First Amendment prevents the government from punishing private entities based on their political views. Typically politicians don’t admit they’re doing that, but Georgia Lt. Governor

There is no constitutional right to sweetheart corporate deals. Major corporations listening to their consumers and deciding not to offer *special treatment* to the NRA isn't a violation of conservatives' rights.
-
However, it's "hypocrisy." Twitter should allow correction of typos.
-
Hypocracy is a word combining democracy and hypocrisy. He probably spelled it like that intentionally. Something like a democracy ran by hypocrites.
-
That's possible.
