It's an uphill battle against the propaganda machine that is FOX news. It is literally all they watch.

Trump could kill one of his supporter's grandmas and they'd be ok with it. This is Jonestown on a whole new scale.

What was there before Obamacare? Just private insurance and state and we got along fine. Why such a fuss with all these plans?
-
Because before, people like me could be denied access to insurance bc of preexisting conditions. Often there were lifetime caps on care.
-
You may have gotten along fine, but a lot of people didn't. Bankruptcies due to medical bills have fallen dramatically since ACA passed.
-
I was dumped in 2007, until ACA, the state insured my family. If we go back to the state and they defund, guess we'll just skip on the bills
-
Sorry to hear. As economy grows more employers will provide med insurance. Private sector, common sense solutions not big fedl govt program.

So, back where i was in 2007
-
That's your solution? Or that's where u think we'll be with private sector, common sense solutions? Do you even know what they are yet? I do

Hold up, are you saying GOP Congress was irresponsible enough to pass a bill affecting 1/6 of US economy without a CBO score? That's insane

It's sad, Cory, but some of these folks will lose care or insurance altogether and continue to vote GOP. Some people can't accept it.
-
And that's actually normal and common in Red States. GOP constituents don't vote policy interests they vote culture and ethnicity.
