Where in the constitution does it say you have the right to drive a car? What you really want to do is generate revenue aka TAX millions of gun owners. Will registration and licensing be free?

Politicians should have a license to tweet. Every tweet should require a background check and a serial number that will be registered with the government.

I see your point, but the two are not the same. One is a privilege and the other is a constitutional protection. If had to have a license then so be it. I have nothing to run from. But at some point we have to consider what government overreach looks like. I believe this is it.
