How does DOJ policy have the force of law over something this important? The president's appointee for AG says oh no, cannot indict a sitting president! It's obviously an arbitrary rule born of self-interest. This makes no sense.

If you had a functioning brain and could think in non partisan terms for maybe 2 seconds you could probably figure out why you can't indict a sitting POTUS. Imagine the indictment process used as a political weapon. The policy has been around a long time.
