Grandfathering for past crimes is assinine. When they committed the crime they knew the outcome of said crime.

Those locked up should be given small business loans & licenses to start selling marijuana. These people have been wronged & now we have John freaking Boehner selling weed. The money is going to flow to the hands of rich white billionaires when it should go to the black community

I know that Marijuana is probably the least destructive drug in the panoply of bad drugs and probably way over prosecuted. But dang... it is intrusive and has a disgusting and vile odor. I don’t look forward to the day when it is legal. It will not be a happyday for me!

I disagree. If it was illegal when the crime was committed, then the record should stand. I feel that it is a slippery slope to "forgive" past crimes when a law changes down the line.
