I believe there is no way at this point they could have the data to say it’s rare; I think it means it has rarely been reported or the existing data cannot be relied upon

They are unable to think outside of the box bc it’s never been a main driver in past epidemics or pandemics. It’s groupthink and hubris and its the last thing we need from the experts right now. Just bc it’s never happened doesnt mean it never will.
