It gets tiresome shooting you down again and again, but here you go.https://www.sfchronicle.com/local/article/San-Francisco-s-crime-rates-shifted-16071268.php …

So violent crime is down, murder rates are near all time lows and have gone up less than in comparable cities and overall crime is down. You cherry pick one statistic. Real good logical reasoning there.

Gun violence is up nationwide. And also up in San Francisco, which is part of San Francisco. Surprise!https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2021/06/14/2021-gun-violence/ …

Gun violence is up MORE in San Francisco than nationwide… shootings are up by more than 100%. The only reason murders aren’t up by more, is that SF criminals are apparently not very shots. That’s a pretty flimsy defense. Not a surprise.

So you concede that violent crime is down, overall crime is down, murders are up a bit from multi-decade lows and up less than in the rest of the US? And gun violence (meaning shootings that don't actually hit anyone, which is a strange definition of "violence") is up. Right?

Shootings that don’t hit anyone are not violence. You should pitch that to Chesa: it can be his new campaign slogan. People will love it. Keep digging. The more you say, the stupider you sound.

And of course, I answer your questions but you don't answer mine. Someone here isn't too bright.

I pointed out that your exclusion of shootings from the definition of violent crime is nonsense. Every other ‘point’ you made was disqualified by the insanity of that statement. But if you want to talk about crime rates falling since 1990, maybe look at the correlation to this:pic.twitter.com/e74zcoJ3W4
