Y’all might not be ready for this convo but... mainstream feminism has so intensely glorified hyper-sexuality that we are actively damaging young girls in the name of liberation & erasing the fact that promiscuous behaviors are used as an unhealthy coping mechanism for trauma.

Consider this: women have collectively experienced so much trauma from both physical & sexual violence and casual sex is, in fact, a way SOME women cause further mental/physical harm to themselves. It is dangerous to project the idea that causal sex = sexual liberation.

In a world where men are still misogynistic and violent, making yourself accessible to them and applauding an idea that sex is absolutely meaningless will only result in the fulfillment of men’s needs and the further traumatization of women.

I got told to leave a poetry group because a guy was promoting paraphilias- he wouldn't change it to consensual paraphilias- the director said "he's a father" but who rapes/beats/kills women? Just about all of them are fathers, brothers, uncles, grandfathers to someone.

Underage sex is legal in over 100 countries (there's only 142) Saudi Arabia- age of consent 0. There are many states in America where child brides are still legal. This either reflects the will of the majority of men or the submission by the majority of men.

Always looking at men through this disgusting lense while living in society where good men built a place where you can be sexist and judgemental on an entire gender. How many men would you say deserve to be tarred with the same brush as the worst of our gender?
