That looks great!
I always felt like a really good regex looks like you got your terminal baud rates mismatched.
me doing anything with unicode does definitely end up looking like a cat walked across my keyboardhttps://twitter.com/zeratax/status/994390047993589761 …
Have you ever looked at pig?
No! Link? Pig is hard to search for :P
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apache_Pig it's like SQL for logs.
If you can make regex look good, you deserve a witches hat. You are a level 100 spellcrafter
Regexes are the devil's work - which explains why they're so much fun to write.
I recently started writing some log parsers and log parsers api, which won't use any regexes because I hate them haha
Lexical analyzers are by and large safer
echo
| sed -n "s/.*\(life\) \(ha\)\(s\).*\(regex\).*/\1 i\3 a \4. :-\//p"

I love a good regex as much as I love a good SQL query. Something about wrangling data into a format you need just feels super satisfying.
I like cats
Yayyyyyy regex Lol
