Hi Jack - Viewers will always see videos of channels they are subscribed to in the subs feed. In this video, we were referring to notifications which not all viewers wanted to receive. We added the bell to give viewers a choice. More here: http://goo.gl/XLDtz4 Hope that helps!

I feel like the bell should be opt out of notifications though, rather than opt in after they hit subscribe. Makes more sense that way in my opinion. Thanks for the reply.

Personally I like to NOT recieve notifications, but I do see your point. Choosing to opt in further is probably worse for smaller creators than opting out, even though I personally prefer the former.
