I once looked forward to seeing Lindsay Ellis do feature films. But she pretty much already is. She's one of the people who's elevated this generation's newest filmic art form – the video essay – to new and greater heights

Not only does she do them *incredibly* well but she has her own style. What really weighs down many video essayists is that they're all interchangeable. Lofi beats and a voice over dude.

This entire series of video essays was great. I wasn't aware of the situation with Warner and the NZ government... What an absolute clusterfuck of a situation and a perfect example of how it seems like everything we love is built on the broken backs of exploited people
