I feel like one of the greatest injustices the trans and LGB+ communities (shared and separate) have suffered is having our own history stolen and obscured from us. So much has been underground word of mouth for centuries so much that we don’t know how far we’ve come.

To clarify, I mean our stories have been stolen from us through silencing, through death, through the many many atrocities we’ve suffered that were brushed under the rug by the mainstream. How many cishets don’t know about queer people being institutionalised and lobotomised?

Anyone know where to find a good copy of Lili Elbe’s book? They are either $350+ or a bad copy with missing sections.

Any chance you can look into a possible copy at a library, a college library might have it and even if it's one you can't take out of the building (sometimes true of rare books) then at least you can read it!
