1: "The term 'trap' is a slur that reflects a mind set that gets trans women murdered." I'm acutely aware, and spreading awareness about this is one of the primary goals of the proposed video.

Specifically, the title is cisbait. It's designed to attract exactly the audience that I think most desperately needs to hear the arguments I'm going to make. For that reason, I think it's a good title.

End thread. You're of course welcome and entitled to continue criticizing me for this. But I respectfully disagree.

The title is dramabait. If you looked into the meme at all you know how much emotion there is involved and how upset some people would be. You knew it would hurt people, but then you lashed out at your critics instead of having any empathy. That’s a bad look.

i think the implication that a person who is proposing to do a video on the topic, given her previous record of well-researched videos, AND who is a trans woman who might be subject the meme, doesn't understand and hasn't looked into the meme, is wildly uncharitable.

I think it would be a great title, since it would fulfill the most necessary role: Attract normies/shitlords who want to be reassured, especially the ones that might be scared of being proved wrong but might not be aware of this feeling. They might betray themselves by listening.
