People have this expectation about what an "SJW" is like: that you're angry, always outraged, humorless, tiresome, earnest to a fault. The point of ContraPoints is to have SJW-type talking points presented by a host who's nothing like that.
If I come right out of the gate with guns blazing, shouting "YOUR SHITTY MEME GETS TRANS WOMEN KILLED"—no one listens. I'm just a hysterical wacko in the eyes of everyone who isn't already woke about this.

And, let's be frank, the people who understand it are ~vastly~ outnumbered by the people who don't.
I don't think you're necessarily doing it intentionally, but this is kinda presenting a false binary. You could probably do a title somewhere between the two presented options which would work.
I certainly don't agree with you often but you are one of the few people who has sometimes managed to change my mind on a few things like this, and even when you don't I still find you watchable because of the way you don't just insult those who disagree.
I missed the whole controversy. But I will say that the proposed video title really makes me cringe. Mostly cause there's two things wrong with it. 1. The use of the slur. 2. Mixing up trans and gay. Take one of these elements out of the video title and it'd probably be fine.
