It's not a huge division in the LGBT community I'm a part of. In the over-40 crowd maybe, in more conservative areas sure, but among young, cosmopolitan LGBTs "Are trans women women?" is not an open question.

Agree with this. I'm sure it happens in many communities I'm not part of but lgbt centers have always been a haven for me and I've never met anyone who claimed to support lgbt rights in person have anything but love and support for me.

Are you kidding I have seen so many lesbians all along Generations from young to old that say trans women aren't women. It's not just the older Generations or in conservative areas.
