I've become more reluctant lately to choose topics that I worry my audience won't care about. I've been sticking to "capitalism is bad," "racism exists," etc. But the success of the AGP video is inspiring me to consider some other passion projects.
I have another presenting-information-to-the-camera video planned for this month, but this spring and summer I'd like to do some more character dialogues, and maybe try something a little more avant garde.
Contra you could do a 40 minute video about the history of a particular mailbox on the side of the road and I'd still watch the shit out of it

Your ability to speak eloquently, ironically, and passionately is why that vid worked. Seriously, you could do a 10-part series on the reclamation strategies in rural Bulgarian waterways and the effects on waterfowl migration patterns and it would be cool!
Obviously can't speak for everyone, but I see your channel as a great way to get introduced to topics I know very little about (racism in Baltimore, gender dysphoria, etc) so I almost like it more when the topics are specific/obscure
Frankly, you do whatever you want, whether it's tearing in to the constructs we take as a given, or starting a rockabilly band through youtube, I'm there for it.

This sounds excellent tbh. I can't speak for all fans but I think most of us prefer you feeling free to express and create what you want, rather than being limited by a perceived expectation by the fanbase. Keep on being awesome!!
