The Battle Hymn of the Republic should honestly be the US national anthem. It's musically and poetically way superior to the Star-Spangled Banner, which is a third-rate anthem by any measure.

We all know that if a poll were taken today, America's new anthem would be "Africa" by Toto. I, for one, applaud the possibility of our national song being an ode to a different continent.

That or America the Beautiful. I'd stump for 'The Stars and Stripes Forever,' But it doesn't have lyrics, so I don't think it qualifies.
