Interestingly, no one ever calls me racist these days. It's been like six months since I've heard that from anyone, which is sort of remarkable considering how often "TERF" and "transphobe" have been directed at me.
I think maybe the bar for white people has just been set really fucking low.
(Re first tweet in this thread) I'm not saying race is a matter of psychological identity or anything like that. The analogy is: As being cis tends to make you oblivious to trans issues, being white tends to make you oblivious to race issues.
The bar is set very low, but I think also calling a white person racist and calling a trans person transphobic are very different rhetorical moves with a different set of intended results.

I think because of the size of your audience it's important that you address this issue. But perhaps it's not one to engage on your own. Like Hbomb brought on Trans people to discuss Transness maybe you need to bring in PoC to discuss race.
You're video on institutuonal racism and baltimore was really good. I think the right route to go when talking about race is just to stick to objective, researchable facts. It's really when ppl attempt to comment on culture when race videos fall apart to me.
