Since yesterday got a couple messages like: "Hi, I believe trans women are women & want to support them, have tried thinking critically through my aversion to dicks, am aware that many trans women don't have dicks, but I'm just not into it. Am I transphobic?" Honestly, no.
Some people just aren't into it. People are into different things. The point it becomes transphobic is the point you start broadcasting your disgust with trans women in terms like "I'm not into gay shit" (if male) "because I'm a lesbian" (if female).
This erases that many straight men and gay women do date trans women. It erases even the fact that *those of us who are bi* often experience attraction to trans women *as attraction to women* and not attraction to men, or "gynandromorophophilia" (thanks again Blanchard)
You have a right to your own preferences. But you are not exempt from criticism if you express those preferences in a way that denies or misrepresents the preferences of others.
Or if you thought say Ines Rau is hot and then found out she's trans and went "eww gross".
Oh thank God... That has literally been bugging me for two years.
But then you totaly change the meaning of lesbian? Lessbians are same sex attracted. I'ts called SEXuality for a reason!
