you're conflating points the same way right wingers do. saying " I don't want to date black people" is racist *isnt* the same as saying they should go find a black person to date.

I must be misunderstanding what you're saying. if you agree that saying "I don't want to date black people" is racist, why are you saying its fine to say that (if maybe fishy) for trans people or asian people?
it's not different with trans or asian people. that first tweet was badly framed. It's more that, if someone just isn't isn't interested in sleeping with trans people, that's not a problem. But if they feel the need to proudly broadcast the preference... it kind of becomes one

i disagree. i'm saying that if you say you aren't interested in sleeping with trans people, then in the (as we know, evident) absence of a defining characteristic for trans people other than that they're trans, then transness is the single predicate on which to make this claim.
