If I asked someone out or made a move and they refused saying simply "sorry, I'm not into trans women," I would accept that without being even slightly offended, end of story. That's not the point of this debate.

Many trans women have the same genitals as cis women. "I'm not into dicks," is not the same thing as, "I'm not into trans women."

In my experience most of us wouldn't really fight that? I mean there are awful trans people out there of course but I feel like no one wants to push against being turned down like that. You'd have to have a level of confidence/arrogance that a lot of us don't have.

Yeah, it's only everything following the word "because" at the end of that sentence that I got any problem with because it's always a SHITTY justification. I'd so much rather have zero justification than a shitty one.

By acknowledging gender and sex as different things it follows people are attracted to some combination of either. Whilst there's no need to be obnoxious about it, saying 'I don't like trans people because their genitalia doesn't match my sexual proclivities' is entirely fair
