What I want to dispute is not the truth of these facts (they are literally true) but the *way in which they are used* as an alibi to bigotry, ignorance, or misunderstanding.

Arielle believes and advocates the idea that people are only attracted to trans people on the basis of their birth sex. She mentions having dated a trans man because she was attracted to him *as a woman.*

She repeatedly suggests that any and all so-called "lesbians" who are into trans women are actually just bisexuals who could never understand the true lesbian mentality.
