Uh, idk how good this comparison is when some of the trans people who were criticising you were targeted by gamergate, and were being as nice as possible there was a lot of harassment as well, but it really wasn't the crux of a lot of the responses
but why can't I point out the harassment without the response always being "but there are lots of valid criticisms too"?

you can, I mean that screenshot of that shitty thing someone said is harassment that happened, but it just seems really insensitive to compare some trans people having criticism to one of the worst Internet related hate things in a whole

like I'm not disagreeing with you that harassment happens and is a real problem, but comparing something that had some self righteous pricks attach themselves to to say vile shit, with a movement that was solely created to harass women seems very inaccurate
