"I guess they're no so keen on free speech after all!" Yeah, no shit. They're Nazis.

Here's what it looks like if you manage to find your way to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-c2qnfUNXE&t=190s …

Needless to say, there is no shortage of videos on YouTube that genuinely do promote racist and hateful ideologies that have not been placed in this mode. This is because leftists are apparently less willing or able than Nazis to organize mass flagging campaigns.

I'm preparing a download link for the video, so anyone who wants to watch or mirror it can do that.

Actually, I've got a better idea. I'm going to reedit the video tonight, remove swastikas and other hate symbols, and upload the censored version.

I...I don’t get the logic at all. A video literally about rejecting right-wing ideologies is now basically unviewable while numerous fascists can stay on YouTube uncensored? Do any functioning humans work at Google anymore?
-
it's definitely dealt with in an unacceptable way, but it *is* a really hecking hard problem to solve for them. they get pretty much as much content uploaded per day than any one human can watch in a lifetime, so in a sense it's a wonder they can moderate *anything*

YouTube appeals is notoriously filled with low-level workers who operate on automatic. You have to keep appealing to get someone actually looking at your video and your case.
-
You're literally only allowed to appeal once, then the option is removed forever. Sometimes for certain "offenses" they don't even let you appeal once.
