anyone who knows who I am knows what kind of content I produce. Who is going to look at my follows and conclude, "oh, I see she follows Richard Spencer, that must be because she endorses what he says"?
in this case I've actually posted a warning explaining why I am following these accounts, I don't see what the problem is—what are you worried will happen?

I really don't feel like there should even be a need to announce and justify this, but I suppose it might discourage some from flipping out over it - although I fear it won't actually keep the drama diggers from doing that. Oh well, at least you can just link here & save time

I think the concern is that some people might encounter bigots for the first time in your follow-list and get a positive first impression that sets them up to be hurt. Though the warning mostly undermines that problem.
