The obvious thing to say is I just need to listen. Okay, I agree. I'm still the lucky one, the one with the platform, the one with the privilege to do this for a living. So the onus is on me to consider criticism fairly.

The real question is: what to I do if I listen and I still don't agree? I can't always agree because my critics don't agree themselves. I'm looking for a way to demonstrate that I can take these criticisms seriously even if I don't ultimately agree with them.

One idea is to have public conversations with leftist critics. So I'm opening myself up to that. Are there any leftist trans people you want me to talk to? Stream with? Have a public conversation? Let me know, I'll do it.

Honestly? you know a creator that only panders to their audience is doomed to become derivative. Remember it's always a loud minority. If you antagonize some Trans folk, so be it, it's not as if you stoped being an individual when you started transitioning.

I don't get this drama. The thing about you that was so refreshing was that your were indepedent and willing to talk about issues and address right-wingers unlike any other utuber. You're not in the hive mind and that makes you awesome. Stay awesome, you're totally right.

I think this is something that happens to all rising stars, you outgrow your first audience and they scorn you for your success. You've been accommodating and fair, and they will come around to letting you be you, or they won't and you'll find a new audience.

The sad fact is that you are talking to a community mostly if people who are very hurt by society in the day to day. We take things personally and go straight to Fight because life requires it so often. It gets taken out on friends and allies

It's important that people feel heard and respected even if you don't ultimately agree. Just listening and being polite and open-minded and trying to learn. That's all you can do really
