But I'm routinely placed in this dilemma where I have some disagreement with part of these communities (about Jesse Singal, engaging rightists, whatever the next inevitable thing is). And I need to learn how to handle it without antagonizing my critics.

The obvious thing to say is I just need to listen. Okay, I agree. I'm still the lucky one, the one with the platform, the one with the privilege to do this for a living. So the onus is on me to consider criticism fairly.

The real question is: what to I do if I listen and I still don't agree? I can't always agree because my critics don't agree themselves. I'm looking for a way to demonstrate that I can take these criticisms seriously even if I don't ultimately agree with them.

One idea is to have public conversations with leftist critics. So I'm opening myself up to that. Are there any leftist trans people you want me to talk to? Stream with? Have a public conversation? Let me know, I'll do it.

That’s where I draw the line, Contra. We should ALL antagonize Twitter furries.

Furries are comrades and will join us along with Mormon transhumanists in the reactionary / progress wars of the late 2020s
