You know what's interesting? A Serbian Film is *not* a fun depiction of violence. It's very uncomfortable despite being given a license to do so by justifying the violence in it as a commentary on the violence of the region.

Another interesting point is "Cannibal Holocaust" - a film that depicts radical violence, mutilation and cannibalism which disgusted its viewers. It disgusted them because at the time, they thought it was real.

When that Richard Spencer thing comes up I always think of that time the Pope said he would punch someone who insults his mother. I mean even the Pope has a fantasy about punching people, what chance do the rest of us have? I guess that's why seagulls ate his peace doves...
