Laugh all you want, photographers, but my recent discovery of
what ISO is and how to set it
is vastly improving the look of my videos.

Would you like to know or would that be patronizing of me? <_< I'm a photographer, but no laughing on my end, since fucking around with settings is how one learns.

In all fairness, 'ISO' is a silly name for that control. "Sensor gain" would make more sense.

There’s a good Filmmaker IQ video or two about that on YouTube.

Have you talked to an audio expert about how to reduce to the tinniness in a tile room? With the amount of bathtub scenes, that could have an impact. I think we all want high quality bubble bath ASMR.

IIRC it seems to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor (or describes the sensitivity of the film) to light input. Think of it like the amount of gain on a signal.

You don't really need to know what it is, just that the higher it is, the more grainy and uggo the picture is - though you need it high in low light to get a picture

Seeing you of all people say this makes me feel a lot better about how slow I was to learn my camera settings.
