fair enough. I try to notice when people are open to new ideas, open to improving on past mistakes, and encourage that, though I totally get why some things may be hard to move past, esp if you've been the target.

I absolutely want to encourage growth and course correction. I'm only one guy with a finite amount of patience for these conversations though. I think I speak for many when I say thank you for being willing to put yourself out there on behalf of others and their communities.
